I've been a big music fan
for as long as i can remember, my first record i bought was Little
Red Rooster by the Stones, been hooked on the blues since
then. I'm a big Stones, EddieCochran, Bob Dylan, and Jimi
Hendrix fan.
I've been
writing my own songs for about 6 years, i had a big change in my
life at that point. The lyrics just came out and eventually got some
music to them. I've got loads of new lyrics for songs ready for
music to be added but it all takes alot of time.
It all started when i entered singer/song writer
week locally, and was told to get them down!
So, my first album 'That
Was Then' was born. A visit to South Street Sound Wellington, got me
my first album which i did solo. The following year i got my second
album 'New Dawning' which i recorded at the South Street Sound
Wellington. This time we added bass guitar, drums, percussion and
backing vocals, which i feel is a way forward. I'm working
on my next album now, early next year, i hope it will be
ready.
My main guitar is a Gretsch 6120G Model. I also
have a Fender Tele 72 Custom and a Dean Accoustic Electro. I use all
regulary.
